The Practicum Programs run from the last week in July until the first week in September. Usually one is held at Mountain Grove Educational Center and another at Merve Wilkinson's Wildwood Forest on Vancouver Island, B.C. The practicum offers hands-on learning of the knowledge, skills and use of tools for the practice of ecoforestry, including forest assessments, cruising, monitoring, introduction to many tools of the trade, felling, bucking, yarding, and skidding.

None are scheduled in the US for 2014/2015. Please contact the Canadian Ecoforestry Institute for their schedule.
